Always wanted to learn how to decorate your own cakes at home? Curious about how to pipe the perfect rosette or make candied flowers? Join Chef Sean for this sweet introduction to the world of cake decorating.

Choose two cakes from the chef’s bespoke cake menu, including spring carrot cake with crumb frosting, a toasted coconut and candied lime cake, and a light strawberry cake. Chef Sean will walk guests through assembling, frosting, and decorating cakes using professional techniques. Learn how to make elegant cakes in your own kitchen that would look right at home in a bakery window.

About Our Culinary Instructor:

Sean McGuire

Sean is a professional chef with almost a decade of experience. He developed his love of cooking as a child growing up in Korea, Italy, Germany, and the American south. After receiving his culinary degree he worked extensively in San Francisco, Napa, and Sonoma at Michelin-starred restaurants and award-winning wineries before moving to Barrington with his wife Shauna and son Hunter. Both in the kitchen and out, Sean loves how cooking can introduce a new experience, ingredient, or culture.
