Considering a plant-based lifestyle? Discover the benefits of making and enjoying real food, which can help prevent and reverse chronic disease. Together with Joyce you will create tasty, healthful plant-based recipes. Joyce will share tips to transition to a plant-based diet too.

You'll Learn to Prepare:

  • Basil and Walnut Pesto 
  • Artichoke and Walnut Stuffed Belgian Endive
  • Lentils and Greens
  • Chia Pudding

Joyce Lande

Creating memorable and beautiful experiences around food.

Experience a fun, energetic and trendy cooking class with Chef Joyce Lande who has been captivated by the preparation and presentation of food ever since she was a child. Her passion for her work was inspired by a her first memory of an elegant tea with her family. That special memory led her to create many more memorable experiences in her kitchen and around the dinner table. Her passion is to find ideal recipes for a party and bring them to life for her guests. She is fortunate to do this for clients as the owner of Lively Kitchens, Inc. Joyce is a professional dietary instructor in Crystal Lake, Woodstock and surrounding communities. Joyce received a Certificate in Plant Based Nutrition from T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies in 2018, a Diabetes Education Certificate, has extensive experience creating menus for special dietary restrictions and is currently attending McHenry County College’s Culinary Education Program.
